Terms of Use
Last updated:
Welcome to CanPlayIt. By accessing or using canplayit.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Use of the Site
The Site provides a free tool that estimates whether a computer can run certain video games based on the components you select or that your browser reports. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
Estimates only — no guarantee
Results are estimates based on generalized performance tiers, not measured benchmarks of your exact hardware. Actual in-game performance depends on many factors, including settings, resolution, drivers, background applications, thermals, and the specific game version. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any result and accept no liability for decisions made based on it.
Intellectual property
All content, design, and code on the Site are the property of CanPlayIt unless otherwise stated. Game names, hardware names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes only. Their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
Third-party links and ads
The Site may contain advertising and links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of any third party. Any dealings you have with third parties are solely between you and them.
Limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CanPlayIt shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
